are you seriously complaining about 30 minutes? i would love to be 30 minutes away from smashfests. we beaumontians have to drive an hour and a half to 2+ hours to go to these fests.

Hey, i'm thinking of coming to the next tournament on the 26th but I need some help. Like most people, anything i want i have to pay for myself. I don't have a job so I can't get more money but I can't spend it either because I'm trying to save for a Wii.
So what I'm wondering is, should i save money for the Wii and skip this tournament or should i just go for it?

wiis are overrated and not as needed as people think.

as of now, the only reason to have your own is to practice little tech things you found or to get discounts at tourneys lol.

if nintendo ever fixes their crap online brawl play, then a wii could be a good investment. But, odds are, thatll take 6 months- 1 year to do, if they do it at all...

If RT is willing to give me a ride and if I came home the next morning or something (or the night of). Cause I'm supposed to go deep sea fishing with my dad the next morning/day.

Also, it depends. If my girlfriend's sister comes into town. If she comes and hangs out with her I'll go, if not she'd probably have to hang out with my mom all day. Which would probably be cool, but still..
