Help with grab finishers

I've been practicing and I can do a grab finisher such as having Nana charge an fsmash while Popo hold the person there but I was curious as to how to get Popo to do a throw like a dthrow without inturupting Nana's charge.

Once you start charging any smash move, you can release the control stick back to neutral. Thus, you can do a down throw while nana is charging by just pressing down after she starts charging. Then time the release of the smash to send em flying.
