Hello fellow Project M'ers, so recently I've been trying to figure out how to edit the announcer so that it says a different name when selecting a character (i.e. says shadow instead of sonic). I downloaded Super Sawndz and tried that. Basically I took a normal smash_bros.brsar file and edited that and then put it in the sfx folder, however when I tried it, it didn't work. Do I need to rename the file to something else or do I need to do something else? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks :)

from super sawnds after you finish editing, you'd hit the "create sawnd" button and name it after the group ID that you imported the sounds into. You'd place that newly created file into the "sfx" folder.

Thanks for the help Xermo, but now it seems that when I do it, it gives me an error saying that it is missing "sndconv.exe" and can't convert the wav file (I don't if I did this step last time time or not) any idea where I can get this?

Thanks. Sorry for the multiple questions, but now it says that I need to insert group id, collection id, wave id, frequency and looping. Any idea where I insert these? And I appreciate the help, btw :)

does it say these things from sndconv? you aren't supposed to run that.
You run super sawndz as normal with sndconv in the same directory.

heres what it says specifically
"Incorrect number of arguments.
insert command requires 4 arguments.
group id
collection id
wave id
frequency
looping (0 - not loop, any other - loop)"
