Looks pretty good, but I would suggest a better power supply. Here's a post I found on EggXpert about different power supplies. Raidmax PS tend to be pretty bad. A good one might cost you an extra $50, but it's well worth it.

I might also suggest getting a Radeon 4850 instead of the 9800, but it IS cheaper than the 4850 and comes with Crysis, but the 4850 is probably better and you can always torrent Crysis. Check the Tom's hardware charts, I think they just came out with some new ones today.

Seems to be pretty good. Consider this RAM for about $10 more. It has a bit more speed than the other set. Just to make sure, I would post your build on the EggXpert forums and get their opinion before you build it. Good luck

Instead of the 8400 id say def go quad and pick up a Q6600 if your going the apps you mentioned are the main priority over gaming. And as blowuptheking said maybe go with a 4850 over the 9800gt if the budget allows for it.
