having problems wth my gc controller *dont know if this is in the correct place*

my R button doesnt bounce up immediatly it sometimes get stuck in t he way up . I opened it up and i think there is some corrotion in the potentiometer is there a way to get it out? i tried alcohol but it only heplped for like an hour
