Florida just had one of it's largest tournaments on Saint Patrick's day with about $1,000 awarded out (thread, results).

Its a shame you didn't get Uberice vs Darkfalchion, has to have been one of the craziest matches I've seen in a while. Nana was all up in Df's ****, to the point of randomly fsmashing him to death on the last stock in round 1 just as he started the combo on popo that would have most likely won him the match, effectively edgeguarding him and almost killing him round 2 on stadium, and randomly grabbing him out of combos on popo round 3. All this happened when popo was far too far away from nana to have any control over anything (like on the other side of the map and on the other side of a rock face on stadium), nana just had it out for df. I swear you have never seen such a stunned expression on someones face as Df had on his when nana killed him round 1. Priceless.

great tourney. all i know is that next gigs i'm going to want to get some matches of mine recorded... and i'll be more comfortable doing so since i won't be dead tired. lol. great stuff phanna.

ps: i agree with Pritch. i think that the Ice vs DF should have been recorded. i really wanted to watch what happened after he told me about it.

Upon request, I can host any given match on filefront or DC++ for your convenience, but there are 65 such videos, so I'm not going to arbitrarily do it for all of them.. did you have any specific match requests?

From what I've seen, it seems to be the Finals being hte most important and then just going down the line from there, but all of them are pretty good.

What is with Low-Tier Singles Losers' Finals? They seem just a little screwy. RockCrock wins 2 in a row and then Speedn wins the next one and it's over?

After the 3rd match, when KeepSpeedN played Link, I think they agreed that KSN would win and should fight Green Mario, and in the interest of trying to speed up the tourny slightly, simply ended the set with KSN as the victor.

Everyone should check out RockCrock's DK beasting Low-Tier Singles though, it's quite impressive.

As for random download options, I'll look into that. For now, sleep.

In the last match of Shiz vs Green Mario... Green Mario's Mario was doing his tornado to gain some height, got hit by Shiz's Falco's laser... then did the tornado again to gain height? Is that correct? I didn't know one could do that.

If Mario, Dr. Mario, or Luigi get hit whiel doing their down-b tornado recovery, they can perform another one. They lose the ability to down-b recover after completing 1. Therefore, if they get hit in one, they can gain even more height by doing another immediately after.
