Getting out of Sheik's combos

at low %s, is sheik's downthrow > ftilt > aerial a guaranteed combo? Or can you escape it with some form of DI + nair?

I just button-mash A (with up-away DI) to tru to get in a nair

The best you can do (i think) Is, like water said, try to DI up and away...Depending on where the sheik follows up at either a chop or nair...
I think for a good part though...This combo is gonna land...Sh*t Happens =\

I'm pretty sure you could use nair or DI up at a low percent.

Try DI behind the d-throw. The combo definately won't work at higher percents if you DI behind. At low percents, it at least gives you more time to get out of the hit-stun, because Sheik has to turn around to do the f-tilt. So yeah, DI behind for-the-good.

you can jump out before you get f tilted.

its the down throw > fair that is actually the annoying thing. and its impossible to get out of it even if you DI behind her.

but if the sheik you are playing is doing down throw f tilt....just jump. be carefull not to get faired without your jump tho.

When I DI behind I get u-aired and on certain stages that can be worse than getting faired.

I think this forum needs a vs sheik thread cause that is a difficult matchup.

vs sheik guide = try your best not to get grabbed.

try not to get needle gimped.

use things like up tilt.....up throw....down throw.....and down smash to combo in to chops.

edge hog her recovery and try to punish as best as you can.

crouch cancel her down tilts and f tilts in to down smahses if you can. but her crouch cancel is gayer so be careful.
