Gamers HQ is hosting their first Super Smash Bro's tournament since the expansion of the shop and because EVO was so damn Hype, we had to throw $100 at melee and see if we can get a scene going!
Stream will be ran by Gamers HQ Tournament coordinators. (will give link soon)
Entree:
$10 for each tournament
$100 cash prize for each tournament
These are the official tournament rules for Melee at Gamers HQ
-Game version: US Nintendo Gamecube
-Game Settings: 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, 2/3 Games
-Double Elimination
-Items are not allowed in tournament play.
-Stages allowed: Yoshi's Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final --Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land.
-Stages for counter-picking: Pokemon Stadium.
-Wobbling is legal.
-Pause option is disabled in the game menu.
-A different stage must be used in each game of a set.
These are the official tournament rules for Brawl at Gamers HQ
-3 stock.
-8 minutes.
-Items are turned to off and none.
-Pause is disabled.
-All infinite's and chain grabs are legal.
-Stalling is banned
-If time runs out, the winner is determined by stock, and then by percentage.
-Double Elimination
-Stages allowed: Battlefield, Castle Siege, Final Destination, Lylat Cruise, Pokémon Stadium, Smashville, Yoshi's Island
-For sake of having a fun tournament we are going to ban Meta-Knight. (Sorry people who want free wins)
Swearing and raging in tournament setting is not permitted. This is an all ages event.
