For Fun or For Glory?

For Fun, I'm pretty good against friends but if I stepped foot in For Glory I'd probably get ripped to shreds, I'm sure I'll do both though since items can get annoying sometimes

For Glory. I have no interest in playing with items against people online. For that, I can play Classic/All-Stars Modes when I feel like.

For Glory, mostly, though I'll play some For Fun matches to calm down and just chill out after I inevitably get thrashed on For Glory.

I'll only use For Fun for:

-Testing my lag to prevent playing like that in For Glory.
-Smashing around a bit on those days where I just ain't feeling it (i.e. sucking hard with the controls).
-As redundant as it is, to have fun with friends who are new to the game.




Also, what Kalierdarke said. Saying things like "my way is the way the game is meant to be played" only makes you sound elitist and self-absorbed, no matter which of the two modes you root for. Just have your fun in your own way and let others have theirs however they want.

I'll probably play a bit of For Fun and a lot of For Glory, though I do wish there was a third option that was 1v1, no items, but all stages allowed cause every now and then I'm in that kind of mood. I like these stages. I'm just not an item guy.

Smash Run isn't online. You can only play it locally or with CPU's, and you can't even interact with each other on the exploration map.

playing for fun is just asking for lag matches its more frequent due to 4 people playing with items.
