This was all done in training mode against Lv. 3 CPU on stop. Percents will change with real DI, stale moves, and rage mode. Tested in multiples of 5%.

SH=Short hop
FH=Full hop
DJ=Double jump (timing of the second jump changes depending on percents)

Added 15 more characters. Does anyone know if Mii fighters have different weights?

Mii Fighters have tons of different heights and weights available... I'd just use a default Mii for testing, it's too much of a hassle and probably not worth it.

Alright. I'll do the rest of the cast late today. Wish Falcon had some more combos into a kill move though.

Is this for both versions? Seems a bit off on Wii U but I can land it fine on 3ds.

Try Jab Lock into Uair to Knee or Aerial Lightning Falcon Kick (sweetspotted) into Knee.

The whole Jab Lock thing has huge potential for Falcon in general because he has deadly Knee finishers.

If you haven't seen what Jab Locks can do in this game yet:

sheesh what do you think the odds are of them patching jab locking out?

its not really a kill move combo but you can usually force a dodge and get a bair in if you throw them off the stage or even hit them in the air easily enough.

awesome research btw

What is going to be sick is that C.Falcon can use that get up spot dodge to do an uair combo into knee making it a true combo from 0-70....

gonna be fun!

Done with all the cast except Mii fighters.

This is for Wii U version actually. I assume it would be the same in both. I don't play 3ds though. Percents might not be spot on. I also need to update OP to say I only tested in multiples of 5 percent. Since this is without DI there's not really a point to getting precise numbers. It might be possible to get it to work at higher or lower percents also, this is just what I managed to land and register as a 2 hit combo in training mode.

Neat, thank you for this. I wonder if we can get percentages for uair to knee combos and dthrow to knee someday.

I hope we get confirmation that this works on the 3DS version... I'm too lazy to confirm it myself

Cool info. I find it's better to act on instinct with uair -> knees though. Just get the feel of it down, don't worry as much about percent.

Just did a dair (they teched) into a knee on Bowser. Seemed like there wasn't much he could do. Could this be a setup?

If he teched, couldn't he just tech-roll away from your knee?

(provide a replay?)
Twas just a standing tech. Instead of bouncing off the ground they just got up in place. They were above 100% damage so they got no invulnerability upon standing. No replay but I think someone could re-create the situation

Thanks for putting the work in TC. I like that you put a range of values to compensate for rage effect and DI etc.

...sticky this topic?
I have an idea that I want to try to consolidate the stickied threads in the best way possible. I definitely want this thread to get more attention.

Speaking of which, is anyone interested in compiling data on down throw -> knee %s?

I've only ever landed that once where it looked like it true comboed. The other times the guy gets out of hitstun in time to jump, but doesn't get anywhere to avoid the knee itself.

Before the patch that removed VI you could true combo dthrow into knee at 65-80% depending on the character. I haven't tested it out afterwards but myself and others have done dthrow into knee at as low as 25% on some characters and it registers as true.

I think that's a combo that is just plain lost to correct DI as far as true comboing. I could be wrong but it seems like people can go really far horizontally from a down throw unless I'm missing something strange that makes it work.
