The Paraguay vs. Spain game was very intense, IMO almost as exciting as the Uruguay vs. Ghana one. Except that no one is wrongly accusing Spain of cheating after their win.

lol I expected Argentina to be dominated like they were yesterday but not with that score. The only reason Diego got that far is because of the individual talent in that squad, they had weak rivals in pools and the one team that was up to their level (Mexico as a unit) got cheated by the refs. Hugo Sanchez is probably lolling in his house down the street from CU.

And I'm still pissed off about Argentina's loss. If it wasn't for Maradonna, I swear that Argentina could've had this in the bag. He's good as a player (one of the best), but as a coach he sucks balls

I was kinda bummed when Mexico lost since we probably had one more game afterward and that would have been it; but you had to see Argentina's loss from the a mile away. The team only got that far because of individual talent, arguably the easiest pool (helped in #1 seed into the bracket) and help from that awful call (with Osorio's accident as a chain reaction) when **** would have hit the fan. From the South American qualifiers you had to see Argentina with Diego as a coach wasn't going to be the amazing machine people have known for decades. Having ice cream after training sessions and receiving hugs can only get the finest players so far without any knowledge and experience from a coach.

The last goal for Uruguay would of made the game a tie game.
