Smash Apprentice
Hey guys! Some others and I are getting more and more into the Project M scene and we really have nothing here in Austin. So we are trying to possibly get weeklies going on if there is enough interest around here in Austin. We are currently looking for a place to host these, but for now we are using a friends apartment club house. This will be a SmashFest just cause of late notice but if enough people come, it will turn in to a tournament. Hope to see some people there!!!
TOURNAMENT FORMAT (In case it does turn into a tournament)
The doubles tournament and Project: M tournament will be a double elimination bracket with all finals and semi finals being best 3 of 5 sets and all other sets will be best 2 out of 3.
Stagelist:
For the 1st match, stage strike the starter list in 1-2-2-1-1-2 fashion. After each match, the winner of the previous match bans 3 stages (Players may counterpick a stage that they previously banned in the set, but may not counterpick a stage on which they won). The player who lost the previous match chooses a stage, then the player who won chooses their character, then the player who lost chooses their character.
Starters:
The entire bottom row on the first page
Counterpicks:
The bottom 2 rows exluding pokemon stadium 1
SETUPS:
If people could bring some setups that would be greatly appreciated. Not sure if we will need them, but just incase there ends up being a good turnout
PARKING:
The tournament is at the Ridgeview apartments club house and you can park in front of the club house
