Smash League is an ongoing tournament that takes place at Game Geeks every third Friday at 7 PM. Entry into League events for first time players is $10 and $5 for returning players. When a player joins a league tournament for the first time they are given a Player Rank of 1000. As matches progress your Player Rank will go up or down depending on the outcome. Each Friday acts as an individual tournament with its own prizes and highlights, however, Player Ranks are publicly listed as an ongoing ladder ranking.
Tournament Information
- Tournaments are every third Friday and start promptly at 7 PM.
- There is an Event fee of $5 to enter the smash room.
- Tournaments entry costs $10 for new players, $5 for league members.
- Tournaments are melee but we will start brawl/pm pools if there is interest.
- Bring your own controller. (Or you can purchase one at the store.)
- It is ALWAYS cool to bring your own set-up.
- Individual tournaments have prizes based on attendance.
- Registration for the tournament ends at 6:30 PM on Friday.
- Controller mods (except cosmetic changes) are not allowed.
- Coaching is only allowed between matches.
- League events use the Apex 2014 Rule Set.
- Payout is 60%/30%/10% to the top 3 players.
- 2-0 receives 4 points
- 2-1 receives 3 points
- 1-2 receives 1 point
- 0-2 receives 0 points
