The rules are:
- 2 vs. 2, one person and their Amiibo on each team
- Omega Form stages only, as well as Final Destination
- No Items – 5 Minute, 3 stock matches.
- Double Suicide penalty
- Any character may be chosen, but no custom characters, no Miis. You may change your character, but you must use the same Amiibo, so choose wisely!
- Tournament may be either single-elimination or swiss style, depending on the number of entrants.
- You may bring your own controller (and are encouraged to do so!) – if it is not modified. Please note we may not have a GameCube adapter available, so if you’d like to use a GameCube controller, please bring an adapter as well.
