Smash 3DS Early Demo Requirements

What are the actual requirements for the early demo codes? I was platinum last year (1500 coins) and was signed up to receive emails. I never got one regarding codes. Has anyone else had this problem? Will any codes be sent out later, or is this it?

Pretty sure it was just to random platinum members last year (the cycle ending in 6/31/14) and not every single one. Bums me out, because I was platinum since the beginning of the cycle...

You had to have gotten Platinum Status from July 1st 2013 - June 31st 2014. I just received my email with code about 10 minutes ago, currently downloading.

On top of that Platinum Status you also had to have registered any 3ds product with Club Nintendo. And chose to accept emails from Nintendo when you signed up.

Also they have announced that they are taking the WHOLE DAY today to send out emails. I got lucky and got it early, but some people may get it later tonight!
