I added Melee to the title.

Should we just run bracket for Melee? Should it be $5?

What do you think Barnick/Mike?

Also bring setups guys plz. We have to be out by 11, so 7-8 setups would be great.

I heard the bracket pools were very unpopular with the Brawl tourney that used it... I just don't see the point of switching to that format, it doesn't save much time and it just cuts down on the total number of matches for the lower-level players.

That's why the format sucks. Brackets are by nature very inefficient due to the queueing of matches each round. There's no reason to cut down on everyone's playing time only to end up finishing at the same time as you would in a more efficient format.

Yah we're not gonna do the bracket pools. Just regular pools for Brawl, and straight bracket for Melee and the side events.

I'm not really expecting a huge turnout, but bring setups guys!

So I'm going to signups for 3S relatively early in the day and I'm assuming the same will happen for melee singles so dont be late guys!
Entry for 3S will be $2 and I'm guessing melee will be $5

I'll bring my wii + PM (No tv cause mine sucks) and the recording set-up.

But the recording thing last time totally turned down the brightness of the screen. We'll see how that works.

I'll be there for PM & Melee. Recording setup for melee.

I don't know if this has been covered yet, but the cafeteria really needs power strips to maximize space. I'll be bringing one

edit- also, when is melee starting? It isnt covered on the schedule

i think we are starting all side tourneys earlier than normal. So maybe expect signups during brawl dubs.

That's a little too early. P:M/3S should start around 2 or 3. We'll finish in time since we're only running brackets. Melee singles will start around 3 - 3:30 as well, and that's also only bracket.

No worries dude. Don't be ditching a family wedding for a smash tourney lol.

Tink, we're probably gonna start P:M bracket at like 2:30. I'll add you in, if you're late though.
