You must have the Nintendo or Mayflash Wii U adapter. Not sure if any other third party adapters are compatible. If it's the Mayflash, set it to Wii U mode. You must be using a compatible version of Dolphin (for Netplay we use 4.0-6554, if you don't Netplay you can use a newer version). Then to get the driver going the smash enabler package is just an installer; run it.

Follow this video and you'll have no future troubles. The rumble feature of your controllers won't work, though.

EDIT:

Wait, I just read that you have a Mac. This won't be helpful to your cause.

You must be using a recent revision of Dolphin (4.0-4599+, for Netplay we use 4.0-6554 currently), and must install the driver. The package you downloaded must be installed, so run the installer that you downloaded and you should be good to go.

I got the right version, but I dont see the adaptor when I go to configure the standard controller in port one... What should I look for?

You don't even have to configure the ports. It should be automatically recognized when it is plugged in.
