Different Characters for Singles and Doubles

When I play melee singles, I prefer to use Falco because of his fast paced play and his ability to combo.. However, when I play doubles I like to use peach because of her turnips and her better ability to go off stage to edgeguard. I don't like to use Peach in singles because I am much better with Falco, but in doubles I find her to be able to help my teammate and give us a better chance. I was wondering if anybody else switches characters from singles to doubles? Is it normal?

For Falco mains, this is very normal. Falco's not traditionally a very strong teams player. It is a little weird you use Peach though, most Falco players pick up Fox for teams.

I play puff in dubs because 10+ rests per game with literally zero consequences is simply dank

I would play fox except for the fact that I despise everything about the character
