Diddy's peanuts freezing the game

Every time I use the peanut gun with Diddy the game freezes. It is just before launching the peanut. I'm not sure if this is something pertaining to Project M itself or if it is my fault, but I haven't changed any of Diddy's costumes. My guess is that it has something to do with the peanut texture.

EDIT: Oh, and this worked for me before upgrading to the latest version.

Yes I have. This is what strikes me as odd.

I assume not, because I have indeed replaced the SD files several times with the original version. However, I will check it out because it may have something to do with my PC not replacing some files or something like that. I'll update this post in case it fixes my problem
