DI for your dinner (idea, feedback appreciated)

Since I'm learning to be a chef, please respond if you'd be interested in me hosting smashfests at my place where I charge 5$/person to cook meals for the attendees. The 5$ would go towards my costs for purchasing the food, and is fairly cheap for a meal. We'd all get to hang out together, and I'd get to practice my culinary arts. Ideas? Comments?

When is it going to be? I'm on a scheduled diet for a few more weeks and I start school so I seriously doubt any chance of me leaving my state for anything :/

I'm planning a meal for 8 people- to be safe. If its more than that... I'll figure something out. lol
World cup game starts when that day?
I don't have a schedule set as far as
"Show up at _____ time

There's 3 WC games. The one that is best fitting to watch is at 2:30 PM and is North Korea (Lol.) vs Brazil. Insert LOL here ___ .

I'm guessing ppl will show up after 12 and pick up food along the way, so dinner might be the option to go with. And pasta is befitting of dinner anyway.
