Fsmashes from certain characters just keep disappointing you, don't they, Yaksa? You're more trouble than you're worth using.
Uh, I think you meant to post this in the Samus boards. This would be the ZSS boards. You're more trouble than you're worth using.
...No it doesn't. Not even close. You should short hop the forward B to cut the lag of that too.Her Fspecial has more lag than the Fsmash so it is more punishable by these speedy characters.
Lol@DeadzoneFsmash albeit not being good as her Fspecial, does have its uses. I find that is generally better to use against fast characters such as fox, falcon, sonic, metaknight. Speedy players seem to get into the dead-zone and avoid the Fspecial, some can outright cancel it.
It can hit people if they roll behind you. In that sense, it kind of covers your bases, but in that case, you might as well just be using ftilts so you can follow the roll and start to space for Plasma Whip. Why is it anytime a move doesn't instantly kill someone it is called "useless" ?
This isn't true. Check out uptilt, hits both in front and behind you, she kicks her legs out. Hits em' upwards and is fast too.The fact that f-smash is ZSS's only move that hits both front and back is reason enough to use it.
Yah, true, totally forgot about uptilt. :/This isn't true. Check out uptilt, hits both in front and behind you, she kicks her legs out. Hits em' upwards and is fast too.
Fsmash still outranges a lot of things, and for spacing purposes it is good.
As has been mentioned, uptilts are better.fsmash has its uses, as stated already, its good to catch people rolling behind you. but thats about it, lol.
So? Use bair or Flip Jump. Alternatively, use a lot of uairs, tilts and lasers in between each use of Plasma Whip. What's the point of having such a scary spacing tool like Plasma Whip if you're only going to use it to kill?save forward B for a killing blow, if you use it to much, it's knockback power will diminish and it won't kill
i'm sorry, it was in response to people saying forward b is better to use than forward smash. it is easier to KO people with forward b. so in a comparison, if you're worried about which to use, abuse forward smash for damage and forward b as a surprise KOSo? I think it's already been mentioned that this is a useful combo. However, this is high percents we're talking about. The move only gains use if your opponent is over 150% or so, and you generally will want to have them dead by that point, so it's more of a fixer move than a first option for a kill.Ok, I don't see how Double D smash - F smash near the edge of a stage at high percents is not useful...
It works at about 80% and higher. You can even get two downsmashes in and then a side B at higher %.I think I take back what I said on this....finally realized that D smash combo to forward B should work. Now I think F smash is at best a rare situational move.
