Hey everyone, my name's Corrout. And if you're reading this, you're either bored or want to get to know me! Yaaay!
So, I play Melee and Sm4sh (3ds) primarily, as those are the two I have readily available on my college campus. I've played a bit of 64, but don't want to morph my hands trying to play it for more than a match or two at a time, and Brawl is... both unavailable to me most of the time... and also... it's Brawl.
My mains in Melee are: Pichu (the poor man's Pikachu (read: the poor man's Fox)), and Samus, and I've been learning Captain Falcon on the side.
My main in Brawl, when I have the chance to play it, is: Pokemon Trainer.
In Sm4sh, my current mains are: Ryu, Corrin, and Shulk.
If you want a full list of mains I've had in Sm4sh, I've mained: Lucina, Wii Fit Trainer, Lucina again, Duck Hunt, Zero Suit Samus, Duck Hunt again, Lucina yet again, Shulk, Duck Hunt, Mr. Game and Watch, and then the current mains.
The reason why I've joined Smash Boards? Community. There's about 15 of us or so that even play Melee on campus, and only about 4 that play Sm4sh, and out of the 15 Melee players, only about 5 of us play regularly. And the Sm4sh players don't really interact much. Plus, I get to show any findings I get with a lot of people, and I get to see everybody's findings. Win-win.
... if you haven't noticed, I'm just going down the list of questions in the one post about sample questions.
I've never attended a tournament for any SSB game, or any game for that matter, but I would if I could. The biggest problems are that back home, nowhere near me holds tournaments for any Smash game, and up at school, it's a long way to the nearest place that ever does tournaments as well. If I could attend a tournament, I'd be much more likely to choose a Sm4sh tournament. Because reasons.
And outside of Smash... I'm a current math major, freshman, 2nd semester. Outside of school work, it's a whole lot of gaming for me. World of Warcraft, TERA, GW2, ESO, CoD, various Steam games... and the magical sport of boffing where I get to do pretend-pretend. By doing the basis of LARPing without actually doing anything besides the hitting people part.
Other communities I'm a part of... well, mostly a social recluse offline, but if any of you are familiar with World of Warcraft servers, I'm on Moon Guard primarily (and if any of you know World of Warcraft servers, I'm not one of those people from Moon Guard). Anyways, I'm also part of a Minecraft server group known as Empire Minecraft. Great family friendly server, amazing staff and everything, but yeah, before you start thinking I'm advertising... that's pretty much all taht I've really found a community in so far.
