Alright well, recently I've noticed that while playing Super smash bros. brawl with friends who live nearby, There have been noticeable amounts of lag. This isn't normal. Usually, gameplay is 100% smooth and free of lag. Anyway, I did a internet speed test at http://www.speedtest.net/ to check my internet speed. I did this on a PC. The result was: http://www.speedtest.net/result/306325652.png
I then did the same test on my Wii using the internet channel. the result was something like this:

Download: 600,Upload: 350, Ping: 200

As you can see, there is a drastic difference. So I'm asking, is it normal for the speed of the Wii to be that much lower than that of a PC? Or could there be something wrong with the Wii itself? For the most part, I've been using a wired connection via Wii LAN adapter. Also, has anyone else experienced increased lag while playing Super smash bros. brawl?

help and advice in any way is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, everyone does.

However, keep in mind your friends' connections as well.

Notice the little circle by their names, and basically, you'll like it better if it's green-blue connection.
