Smash Wii U Can the challenge, beat all star mode on hard with all characters, be done with two people?

Okay so I have been researching and surprisingly have found people with mixed answers on the idea that you can clear the challenge, beat all star mode on hard with all characters, with two people. Does anyone have evidence or have tried it before? If so what is the verdict? Can you? I would prefer an answer from someone who has tried it out rather then just assuming or guessing. No offense but it would be terrible to go through all the characters on hard all star with someone else and then it doesn't work.

Unless the challenge says "Solo", it'll be possible to complete it in Group mode. For an example...

*Clear Classic at intensity 9.0 without any customizations.

That challenge can be completed in Group mode. However, for the next challenge...

*Clear Solo Classic at intensity 5.5 or higher, playing as Wario without any customizations.

The challenge above clearly states "Solo", and as such, it can ONLY be completed in Solo mode.
