Can someone explain this?

Hey Smashboarders, while I was fighting on for glory today I got this really weird kill on a sheik with a down tilt from center stage. I get that the move killed, but I dont understand how ( not enough knockback ). Anyone have an explanation or is this just some online voodoo?

Also they might've been DIing in, which would've made the knockback more vertical

Interesting, since the rage effect would probably be minor (only at 84%) I guess we can chalk it up to piss poor DI?

The sheik did a downsmash when you hit her with the dtilt, that means x2 knockback

If youre charging a smash attack, you receive bonus knockback. I dodnt her charging up, but if that's true then that'd definitely explain it.
