c stick issues?

I've been through so many controllers at this point and they all seem to have this issue. Even my latest controller (fresh out of the packaging) has it, so maybe it's just meant to be? Basically, after a wavedash, about 50% of the time the first tap of the cstick (smash or projectile throw) will not register. Only the second tap will, so basically I'm losing valuable time. When I use A, I can go straight from the wavedash into my technique. Anyone have this/ a solution?

If every controller does this then that's a good indication that you're causing the issue, not the controller
Yeah that's what I said in the post. My question was if anyone else has encountered/is encountering this and what they've done. Because I don't see my problem as I'm using the c-stick like i would at anytime

The only thing I can think of is that you're hitting the c stick too early
Or if you're dashing out of your wavedash, then the c stick wont work either

i'm not hitting it too early because I can hit A at the same time and it will work. I'm not dashing either. Is it possible that if too many fast movements are inputted the c-stick messes up?

Are you holding the shoulder button too long when you wavedash? If you are then you would be spot dodging or rolling or something instead smash attacking
Really though the most likely answer is that you're just timing it wrong. I can't think of anything else that would cause it

edit: just realized I didn't answer your question lol. I've never heard of something like that though. The c stick should always work no matter how many fast movements are inputted, as long as you time it right

Nah man, like I said i'm pretty sure it isn't the timing or spot dodging because it works when I use A. Also, I can visibly see that the wavedash worked fine. Idk man, it happens in other areas too occasionally. So irritating!!
