Smash Dawgs at MSU along with Mississippi Smash League is proud to bring you Bulldog Smash 3! Back and better than ever, this open invitational tournament will feature both doubles, singles, crew battles, and for the first time ever Triples for Super Smash Bros. for WiiU. The venue fee for the event will be $5.00 while bracket entry fees will be $5.00 per entrant per bracket except for Triples which will be FREE. Providing a full set-up for either Melee or Sm4sh will waive the venue fee. Bulldog Smash 3 will open its doors at 1pm with sign-ups for crew battles followed by doubles and concluding with singles. The event itself will begin at 2:15pm with Crew battles! This tournament will be MSL power ranked so bring your game face! Snacks, Possibly a food tray from Walmart/Chik-fil-a/Salsaritas

Top 3 if entrants are 50 or less 55/30/15
Top 4 from 60 to 70 50/25/15/10
Top 6 from 70 to 90 50/23/12/9/3
Top 8 from 100+ 50/20/10/7/4/2.5

Schedule:

 WiiU/GameCube/Wii Console
 An HDMI cord or other cord to hook to a TV
 A regular TV for Sm4sh/not Melee. CRT for Melee
 A extension cord OR Power Strip

SINGLES RULESET:
- 2 stock, 6 minute matches
-Customs are OFF.
-The tournament will have pools followed by two double elimination brackets, a pro bracket for the top 3 players from each pool and an Amateur bracket for everyone else.
- Sets are best of 3, except for Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals which will be best of 5.
- Stage Striking is done in a 1-2-1 fashion.
- After game 1 is finished. The following Stage/Character pick order is used:
1) Winner Bans 1 stages
2) Loser Picks Stage
3) Winner picks character
4) Loser picks character

- Dave's Stupid Rule will apply
-Dave's Stupid Rule Salty Clause: If you run back a loss on a stage that you lost on and Win the 2nd match that stage is reset from Dave's Stupid Rule
- No coaching in between games, only between sets.
- In the interest of saving time, please understand that tournament games get priority on sets over friendlies. Additionally, while you are welcome to leave/return to the venue between sets, if you take too long the Tournament Organizer retains the right to DQ you. It's in your best interest to let the TO know if you leave during tournament times.
- Any existing glitch that you exploit that gives you an unfair advantage is subject to an instant forfeit of a game, regardless of a lead, or potentially a DQ. YES THIS INCLUDES USING THE CORRIN INFINITE GRAB ON ZSS. We will take a strong stance on abusing exploits. If someone is abusing an exploit please call a TO immediately, if your game just ended due to an exploit, save the replay for the TO to view.
