I have a question. how do I add songs into the library that are already BRSTMs? simply dragging them to the library folder won't work for me...do I have to edit the library.txt file? how?

This is pure theory since I'm nowhere near the program right now but have you tried the add button like when you go to add an MP3 for conversion, but searching a brstm instead?

I have. it only supports .mp3, .wav, .ogg, and .flac... this program needs a .brstm add button and an SD to PC button as well... also, it needs to show the info of each individual file like loop start. (the smashbox can do it, so why can't this one as well?)

Btw, I tested it in-game, it cuts the song short.
Huh, how about that... Maybe remaking the song will work? I know for a fact all the ones I've made here all finish properly. I do remember that I had some problems with songs before (Like static or how halfway through it would play another song isntead) and switching to brand new 2gig SD card fixed those completely. But your problem seems to be the brstm and not the card so yeah, try remaking it.

Oh. There goes my idea then haha.

Hey does anyone know of this glitch?

One of the songs in Final Destination, I forget which one, plays fine the first loop, but when it gets to the end it suddenly starts playing Meta Knight's custom Victory Song. It's a really bad quality version of it too, skips a lot and fades in and out.

I think I added the FD song in an earlier version than 1.5 so it might've been fixed by now. Anyone know of this though?

Copy them in the library directory, then start up the program. That SHOULD work.

Because I never had a reason to implement sure a feature.

Its probbaly your SD card. Try remaking the brstm or copying it again.

it tells me there is an error and asks me if I should continue or quit. it doesn't matter if I press either, the brstm that I added into the library folder won't work...

I have a problem guys, after some seconds of hearing my custom songs properly, the sound messes up. I've tried themes converted by me and some others that I've downloaded from other threads.

Maybe you know what's wrong.

Geez, I don't have a 2gb card. I'm using a 1gb card, should I really buy a new sd card? maybe the problem isn't that. Anyway, thanks.

Btw, I'm using Brawl+ 5.0 with textures, and my Brawl NTSC-U is running on a wii PAL, I guess there's no problem with that, just saying.

Haha no I didn't mean use a 2gig one, just get a new one. I said 2gig cause that's what I have. I meant use any new card up to 2gigs, you could use a 512mb one for all I care, so long as it's a new one. I say a brand new one or a relatively new one cause that's what fixed my issues with sound.

Fun, my ¿missunderstanding?(xD) has solved the trouble. Well, thinking about what could make the difference between a 1gb card and a 2gb card, I figured out that it could be the difference of empty memory, so I deleted unnecessary files from my SD (it was almost completely filled) and holy yesz all musics work right now.

Maybe the sd needs some empty space to read properly the musics, that'd explain things.

I've already tried remaking it, even with different MP3's and BRSTM's. Same thing happens in all cases.

I'm not sure why it's happening, but every time I close the program, it crashes on me the same way. I've got the code dump, at least.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

how do i change the loop setting?
First, you have to find your loop numbers (Samples) in an audio editing program like goldwave or audacity. Then when you add a song in for conversion there's two columns that have loop start and loop end numbers. Put your new numbers into those areas before converting into a brstm.

problems with yoshis island anyone? All my custom songs work great except the ones in this stage. They play until the "Ding Ding" in the stage plays and then the original song starts playing. wtf.

Do you plan on making a manual volume adjust feature?

Some songs play just fine but others are still really quiet.

note: im using 1.5

The 'Obstacle Course' song changes when the seasons change. You have to put the same song on both obstacle course and obstacle course winter

Also, if anyone has any problems with songs crackling and stuff, teh first thing you should do is defragment your sd card

EDIT: The file structure private/wii/app/title/rnfe, ...title/rnle, and ...title/rzde just got added to my sd card, each with an 'info.pac' inside, though im not sure whether that was because of this or the ALSTT.

I did that once before but that got me the problem of the song restarting every time the seasons changed and the song would never play to completion.

I wish this wouldn't tamper with the songs I want to convert.

One example is volume correction. When I de-amplify a song, the GUI will just re-amplify it. It's quite annoying and I have to resort to Command Prompt-esque/Simple converters because of this. I think Dantarion has said somewhere in the thread that this doesn't normalize volume in any way or something... but it does (at least the last time I checked).

Another example is the balancing of left and right channels. A few songs I have are played with distinct Left and Right channels. The GUI will force each channel to "mix" each channel. For example, if Guitar player A plays on the Left channel and Guitar player B plays on the Right channel, the GUI will convert it so that Guitar player A AND Guitar player B play on Left channel while only Guitar player B plays on the Right channel. The result is just a garbled mess and less clear than I want it to be, especially for heavier, lossless songs.

Can't we choose what we want done for us via check box list? When's ver1.6+ coming out?

I'd like to say that this program is very awesome.
However, you might want to add a script for when the SD Card is full. As it is now, the program just...does nothing and makes me think it screwed up.

Also, instead of defragging, transfer all your data onto your main hard drive and tranfer it back. 10x faster and 1000x more efficient at putting all the empty space in one place.

It does normalize the volume.
It doesn't mess with channels.
1.6 may never be out.

I'm guessing this can't make custom Song Titles appear, can it? I know that it stores song titles, though. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a simple GUI where you pick a Stage, Song, then Type a title, and it makes the code for you in hex. I don't think that should be too hard. (Though I myself am clueless as to how to make programs)

This program mocks me. I get an error upon opening it, which I choose to ignore. When I choose the directory and displays all the songs on my SD card, I can't play anything from it. What am I doing wrong?

I got everything working fine, but it freezes as soon as I enter the stage select screen. Did I do something wrong or forget to do something else? I appreciate any help I can get, because I really like the tracks I got picked out thus far.

This program mocks me. I get an error upon opening it, which I choose to ignore. When I choose the directory and displays all the songs on my SD card, I can't play anything from it. What am I doing wrong?
I've had this happen for a while. I also can't put Brstm's into the library folder and make them appear in the song list. I even tried re-downloading the program but to no avail. also, songs that I manually added into my SD card cannot be seen, and my SD card is new.

I have a problem. Whenever i press the button: ''Select SD/Folder'', it says: "Folder Structure not detected." Therefor i cannot add them to my SD card D=. I do have the right ROOT of my SD card, the problem might be that i have a PAL wii with a folder called RSBP instead of RSBE, but even that i changed it to RSBE but it still gives me the same.

I figured out that I needed that patcher code from Phantom Wings to get the music working, and when I play it in both My Music and the GUI program, it works fine. But as soon as I got to stage select, it freezes every time.

So I figured perhaps if I updated my Geckos it would work better. Now this weird DOS program comes up when I try to boot up the game with the patch code for custom music. So from what I can gather:

1. It is not a problem with my SD card (1GB should it matter).
2. The music converted nicely and can work.
3. Must be something either with the code (doubt it) or Geckos (more likely).
4. Or I just made a simple but dumb mistake that I have yet to notice (most likely) lol.

In either case, I'm stumped......:dizzy:

I didn't think about PAL users when making the program. Is there a PAL 3.5.1 code now?
If you want you can point the program at a folder on your hard drive and copy the files it makes yourself.

I dont know what your problem is, but you should go back to the older version of GeckoOS, as upgrading didn't seem to help you :D Also, if the files play, it has nothing to do with my program.
