i can always make it to him with 0 percent but im not sure if i get hyper or risk a lot of hits but i get him to about 1/3 health and mess and he kills me with the chain move or i freak and twitch into a attack. the rings of death are easy though.

Wrong forum. You should have posted this in the "Brawl 1-Player Mode" forum.
And, just keep trying. If you can make it past the rings, then you can make it past anything, really. Airdodge the single-hit attacks (the chain that latches onto you), stay airborne for the giant laser he shoots, and for the most part, stay behind him. If you think you'll get hit if you approach him, then don't. Stay far away and wait out the attack, less risk means less chance of you having to start over again.
And by "him", you mean Chuck Norris, right?
