But then you cant Imput a direction when you jump.Short hop with Y/X, angle analog stick slightly up and tap A. Pretty sure s2j uses this method too
you mean like doing a instant up-air while youre running? If thats what you mean it still works, if your analog stick is going left or right for running, you dont have to angle it that much higher for A to read as an up-air when you jump. You can get the directional input as long as you do everything fast enough. Not saying its better than claw grip, but I know that there's a lot of players who really don't want to make the commitment to changing to claw and restarting all their muscle memory. But then you cant Imput a direction when you jump.
You can, you just have to wait until after you input the u-air. From a standing position, you don't have much time to drift anyway since of how quickly you come down. It'd be interesting to see how much farther Falcon can drift inputting the u-air with c-stick. I'll test this and post the results. But then you cant Imput a direction when you jump.
You claw all the time or just for uairs? cause clawing sucks for the rest tbh and sh with the side of the finger is stupid imo.Claw is the answer. Don't be worried about the transition. Only took me 3 weeks to be approximately back to where i was. Just practice everyday and do it.
When you have such an easy way to improve your play, why not do it? If you dont, i dont think its a stretch to say that you're not truly interested in improving.
