Luigi + Sonic

It is the NEW Jiggs + Fox.

Grab + Up B

Kills most of the cast between 50-70

Easy to pull off, hard to punish...

If Sonic isn't working use Dedede (amazing grabs) + awesome life tank.

meta/kirby snake can pwn because of the free stock c4 trick where snake attaches a c4 to meta/kirby and they do their up grab, take the opponent of the screen and snake blows up the c4 which kills the opponent.

Well the most annoying projectile combination I've found is Falco and Pikachu. Their neutral+b spammed creates a consistent current of damage on the bottom of the stage, and unless you're a ness, lucas, fox or wolf (or falco with quick fingers), you're forced into the air. At which point Falco and Pikachu engage. It's really annoying having to deal with thunder jolt and lasers at the same time, the two most god ****ed annoying projectiles in the game.

They're both heavy, d-throw to f-smash, inhale to f-smash, d-throw back and forth, d-throw to jet hammer, and a helluva lotta b-airs.

Jiggz and Lucario, Jiggz can WOP while Lucario tosses shadow balls left and right and when Jiggz dies he fills in as a melee specialist. Lucario gets tons of damage but Jiggz comes in and saves him and then Lucario's shadow ball becomes a real force. That's how my friend and I play at least.

ultimate edge guarding, great grab and power/heavy game

ultimate gimping team, great control and damage racking

i would consider different team if friendly fire is on or off
i think with FF off Ike n Meta/Lucas would do so much crazy dmg and could rush into some good team combos

and FF on 2 small char or Lucario n someone who could deal small dmg to him to boost up the multiplier if your lives ahead of the opponent.
it really matters if u and your partner know what your doing and how to not get into each others way and screw up the enemy

I'd like the idea of ROB/G&W. Buckets, G&W covering ROB's behind (a hard place for ROB), buckets, ROB offstage juggle that G&W can't do very well, buckets, overall strong characters, oh, and free buckets.

The grabbing and inhale-fsmash combos are ********

G&W/Pikachu
Game & Watch can max out his Oil Panic from one thunder, which does 60% and is absolutely lethal. The characters on their own are not that bad, either. Also, G&W has the U-air recovery assist, which doesn't deal damage to your friend like most other assisted recoveries.

Ness and G&W. 3 PKTs = a 1 hit kill bucket even with DI at 0%. Plus it's faster than lucas's by a long shot so you can beef his bucket at almost anytime during the match.

G&W with some really lame projectile camper. Preferably Zelda, who has a very fast and powerful projectile that can go anywhere. The fact it's normally a very telegraphed attack is actually a very good thing for this team combination, meaning that G&W should have a very easy time absorbing it without accidentally getting killed in the process.

Mind you, Oil Panic has more range than Dedede, and with Zelda's Din's Fire, it's a 1HKO.

Perhaps not the best team, but I've had a lot of fun with Marth and Ness (I'm the Ness) in online play.

Yup, GaW and any decent projectile, leads to being able to 1HKO at any point in the match, near instant setup and unshieldable... Way too powerful.

I personally love G&W + Luigi (for a decent oil panic, as well as grab->upB) and G&W+fox/lucas (for insanely quick oil panic buildup)

I heard ROB and Snake are killerz...

and 3 fully charged PK blasts + Oil Panic = TOTAL PWNAGE!!! XDD (its funny seeing the opponent get hit by a blob of oil. it hits so hard, that the opponents pitiful existence is completely annihilated the instant it comes in contact.)

Huh. Ness or Lucas/GaW sounds pretty ****ing lethal. Again, the bucket is pretty broken now, so the real challenge is hitting with hit. Which, is awfully convenient when Lucas has a PKT that hits multiple times (hint, enough for a GaW to run up and Oil Panic) and a Ness that has a PK Fire that hits multiple times (hint, enough for a GaW to run up and Oil Panic).

Oh, and in Team Attack off, Zelda/anyone and Pikachu/anyone is God tier. Zelda for her ridiculous Forward and Up Smash, Pikachu for his ridiculous Down Smash and projectile. The fact that they're range and stunning time is so large is, quite frankly, broken.

Speaking of which, Dedede + Snake seems fun with an infinitely long explosive. >_>

G&W's downthrow insta-connects with oil panic ftl

My friend and I use Wolf/Fox, Wolf/Falco and Lucas/Zelda teams.

Zelda's projectile heals like 20-30% on Lucas, so any time he has the opportunity, instead of chasing his opponent off the stage to try and intercept he'll toss a din's fire my way. I heal it AND it has the potential to hurt my opponent. (If it does hurt me, who cares, it does like 18%. I'm about to heal 30 lol)

Lucas/Zelda usually ends up in my lucas having 2 stocks vs one opponent with 1 stock. If life-stealing is allowed in the tournament, then we have a 2 v 1. So in essence, his healing of Lucas ends up giving him another life in the long run as a possible outcome. Rather nasty.

Wolf/Falco is just nasty. We both have stunning projectiles. We both have reflectors. We both have strong smashes and a wicked midair game. I guess just use your imagination on that one and the Wolf/Fox one. There's no downright reason why this is a great team, I just work well in harmony with my teammate

Ness and Lucas is definitely a good team. I've got 2 friends trying to learn Ness so that we can use this team. For anybody that needs reason on why this team is good, under the Ness/Lucas thread look for a stickied post entitled Mothers Boys.

Hmmm...

EarthBound Team (Ness and Lucas) Broken...
-Stated multiple times in the thread

Fire Emblem Team (Marth and Ike) Broken...
-Marth quick sword dance technique and tipper, with ike relatively slow but very strong attacks would keep the opponent guessing. And think about this... Marth multiple f-airs and then ike RAR/spike or Ike's knock-back ability with his f-air and then a quick spike from marth. Marth's chaingrab/b-throw into Ike's forward smash or charging/fully charged eruption. The possibilities are endless.

And since I tried out most of this techniques with my friend, its been noted.

Those Brooklyn Plumbers (Mario and Luigi)
-Those **** fireballs would get annoying. Water jet to Shoryuken. Hell his up-b to air shoryuken. The edgeguarding would be crazy, meet luigi's back air or BE FLAGGED!!!!! by mario. Both quite floaty and can't be combo'ed or chaingrabbed when your partner is present. Just a thought.

Space Animals (Wolf-Fox-Falco [any combo]) Broken?
-Don't have time to explain... but they are good together.

Some others to ponder about
DDD and Sonic
Snake and Sonic (Funny little tricks they have)
Snake and Ike
Capt. Falcon and Snake (even thou Falcon suck hard at doubles)
Metaknight and DDD... not funny how good they work together...

That's about it.

Fox and G&W, charge up G&W's bucket and abuse it every chance you get.
Or maybe ness and lucas? They could heal each other whenever needed.

The ultimate camping team

ROB and Zelda. Zelda just sits behind rob and spams Din's fire while Rob fires his lasers and gyro. Approaching them will be a pain.

I heard the Olimar Marth, Olimar G&W, Olimar Jiggly make good teams.

I think with Diddy and Snake you would have to work at being good teammates since bananas and mines have the ability to hurt your teammate also. I think the key would be finding a compromising partner and character that could handle this effectively.

Ideally it seems you want a damage dealer with a finisher. A camper with a camper or a camper with an aggressive player. You want a teammate that can compromise your own characters flaws while at the same time their flaws are covered by you.
