[Aug 23, 2014] Stock X Change (Grove, OK)

This is the first Stock X Change: Super Smash Bros. tournament! Our goal is to gather both amateur and experienced Smashers for a fun, yet competitive, event.

Doors open at 10:00AM

Venue fee: $10 (a $5 discount will be given for anyone that brings a set-up. Either a system with a Smash Bros. title, a 20" or bigger CRT TV, or both will count.)

Singles Smash: $5 per event per person (Melee and P:M are definite, but 64 and Brawl must be requested by popular demand. We are also considering having a P:M Turbo Mode Event and Arcade Survival Challenge.)

Registration will start when the doors open at 10:00AM, and Singles Registration will end at 12:30PM

All Singles Events will start at 1:00PM

Doubles Smash: $10 per event per team (events aside from Melee and P:M will be considered by popular demand, including a P:M Turbo Mode Doubles Event and Doubles Arcade Survival Challenge.)

Doubles registration will end at 3:30PM

All Doubles events will start at 4:00PM

We will aim to have the whole tournament wrapped up by 7:00PM, which is when Game X Change closes for the night.

We will run the events with the APEX ruleset, but adjust things as needed should there be any issues.
