I love unlocking characters, its one of my absolute favorite things about the smash bros. series.Unlocking is a pain with larger casts, but I don't think there can be too many characters...
agree on both frontsI think a roster size between 50 and 55 is ideal. In my opinion the most important thing is that each character is true to there origin, and in my opinion Smash Bros. does this wonderfully. I want to always feel like I'm actually embodying the character that I select, in other words when I select Kirby I feel like I'm playing as Kirby, not a "fighting game" version of Kirby. As long as Smash Bros. remains consistent in that regard thenI think a large roster can only be positive.
