Are project M players generally as annoying and elitist as Melee players?

Cause I might try play this game but Melee players are NOT cute and their cunty attitudes are not appealing. ​

It's gonna cause flames and makes us look bad. Please lock, bad Brawl/Melee/Project M players all exist, they are a vocal minority that ruins the reputation each base has for the rest of us. Bringing it up so bluntly and following that stereotype makes us look even worse.

Do you honestly think youre gonna get anything out of this thread besides an argument? Broad stereotyping is dumb bc its impossible to assign some trait to a huge group of people. Some melee players are obnoxious and elitist, yes, but some of the nicest people ive met are melee players (shoutouts to ARC, SOS, and chicago melee). Theres all sorts of people in both games and assigning unfair labels is just gonna hurt feelings and start fights

Idk about the MINORITY part, almost every melee player I've met have been super negative and cunty to anyone who isn't a melee player.

Brawl and 64 players on the other hand have a tendency to be more chill and accepting.

So? Ive met brawl players who are huge assholes and melee players who are now great friends of mine. I cant speak for your personal experience but there are nice people and assholes in all groups. No group is 100% nice or mean, thats just how life works. There will always be mean spirited people in otherwise ok groups; avoiding a huge group of people because you had an issue with a small section is wrong to all the better individuals you just didnt get a chance to meet. If you dont like someone, then ignore them or w/e, but dont call their whole group ***** just because of them
