Please join NintenDiego for an amazing Charity Super Smash Bros. event in Mira Mesa! This event is going to be huge, and you’re not going to want to miss this one. Join us for not one, but two separate Smash Bros. Tournaments, suited to your playstyle!

Our first event will be the return of a fan favorite – The Amiibo Team Tournament! This time we will have a twist, though, and have it on your New Nintendo 3DS XL! While we will do our best to accommodate players who don’t yet have the new 3DS XL, it is strongly recommended that you have the new system.

Secondly, we’ll also be having a Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament! If Amiibo Team Touraments aren’t your style, or you simply want to come down and test your mettle against other players in this intense iteration of your favorite fighting franchise, we’ll have several units setup.

Entry into either tournament is $5, and the entire $5 will go Child’s Play Charity, which benefits children’s hospitals worldwide. We do suggest only participating in one, as they’ll be going simultaneously, and missing rounds in your tournament could result in disqualification. Both tournaments will be swiss style, and the rules are below:

The same Amiibo also may not be used between entrants.Any character may be chosen, and you may change throughout the tournament as you wish.
Having a new 3DS XL is strongly recommended. A 3DS family system is required to join the tournament. Please bring your own controller! You may bring a wired, or wireless GameCube controller, however, modified controllers will not be allowed.
You must be present for all matches!
Missing a match will result in a loss for that match. Missing 2+ matches in a row will result in disqualification from the tournament!

Signups will be from 12-1PM and the tournaments will start promptly at 1PM.
