Any other Earthbound/Mother fans here?

I've just recently beaten Earthbound and it was absolutely amazing! It was funny, well paced, had a great overworld, memorable characters, and it was a perfect mix of being funny and dark. It is one of the greatest games I have ever played. I'm wondering if there are any fans of Earthbound or the other Mother games here. I haven't played Mother 3 or Earthbound Beginnings yet, so i'm looking to see what those games are like. Also, if anyone knows any games similar Earthbound, please let me know! Even if you aren't a fan but have still played these games, let me know what you thought about it! I'm interested in what the rest of the Smash community thinks of these games.

I love the Mother series. Mother 3 is my favorite game of all time, its a very emotional game. Earthbound is my second favorite game of all time and I LOVED it! The fan made game Mother 4 was supposed to come out last month, But sadly we still have to wait.

Yeah, I'm bummed out about the Mother 4 delay. I just finished Mother 3 and I think I like EarthBound just a little bit more. I like how non-linear the game is and how many towns, cities and other areas there are to explore. Mother 3 was still really good though.

*Raises Hand!* I am a huge fan of the series. Currently replaying Earthbound for the 100th or so time. I've played through and beaten Mother 1 and 3 as well. I bought Earthbound Beginnings, I plan on replaying it after I beat Earthbound. Definitely one of my favorite RPGs of all time. I need to look into Mother 4. It looks awesome, I'd just rather have a real version. But I am much in favor of fan-created games. (PM!)

Level up your party members. That'll help in the Stone hedge in Winters. I have not played Mother 1 though so i'm not sure about the desert one.

BTW How long did it take you to get the Sword of Kings for Poo? It took me 5 hours and Ness was at Level 91 by the time I got the Sword of Kings.

It is soooo hard to obtain. THAT'S WHY I'M STUCK

You'll get it. What I did was that I stayed in the top right area just before you enter the final part of the Stone hedge, and fought Starman Supers' for hours. Just avoid the Nuclear Bomb enemies because they are annoying to fight. Keep everyone in your party alive.
