1. Jab Twice. Wait until the animation finishes. Grab as they are most likely shielding. At low percents, this can combo as follows:

Jab Jab->Grab->Pummel Once->Dthrow->Utilt

Jabs do 6% total, Pummel does 3%, Dthrow does 7%, Utilt does 8%

6+3+7+8=24%

If you do a Utilt, it's possible to further mess with your opponent-assuming they're a little bit stupid against Lucas. After the Utilt, let them drop down so they can "punish" you, then Grab->Pummel Once->Utilt. Utilt may not be possible, though at 24% only 9ish possibly 16 or 17% due to diminishing returns. If an opponent is too smart for a re-grab, oh well. You still did 24% damage. At high percents starting at 140, Dthrow starts killing. Just go Jab Jab, Grab, Pummel x 5, then Dthrow. 5 Pummels=15%, which is doable once they're at 125 or more. Plus that extra 15% might be just what you need to cross that killing threshold.

Once they catch on and start spotdodging the grab...

2. Jab Twice. Wait until you can something else as usual. Dsmash them on the spotdodge.

Congratulations. You can now start f***ing with your opponent whenever you Jab-Cancel.

24% is good. I should use this on my brother, he gets pissed at combos. :D

By the way. If your opponent has more damage is it harder for them to escape a grab?
