So, I'm still coming to this, but I'm looking for housing. Can anyone help me out? I'm planning to arrive on Friday night at around 10:30pm (I couldn't book work off, so I can't join the Melee tournament, but I'm definitely down for friendlies), and then I'm leaving on Sunday at around midnight, so I only need a place to stay Friday night. Of course, if people are down for a smashfest on Sunday, I can stay longer.

Oh, I'm also looking for someone to team with in Brawl. I use Metaknight and Kirby. I've got lots of doubles experience - many weeklies here, 5 months training with Runawayfire/Minus (best Falco in GTA) plus 2 tournaments in GTA (with names like Ally, KingAce, Percon, Hype and Ambrose).

Well i like to think so. Ive been playing Melee basically since it came out, and same with brawl.
The only reson why there still is a brawl community in lethbrdige is beacuse me and the guys get together and play it religiously every friday. and i mean every friday.... its sad really.
everyone else here stoped playing once they found out it was broken lol. were a small group of hardcores.

Im down, but a tourney? can you do that running along side vanilla brawl? i mean what if your called up for both at the same time? I think brawl friendlies and MM are a good idea, but maybe not a tourney, considering alot of people havnt tried it yet. I dont know, just kinda sceptical.

but on the other hand... More + exposure! if its not a hinderence to the rest of the tournament then im all gung ho for it.

The whole idea behind having it run the whole day is so that if you get called at the same time of a singles/doubles match you can hold it off till you're done the more important match. But w.e up to you guys.

Yeah, -Age, the Brawl+ would just basically be whoevers interested stealing use of the Tio and hosting equipment that Luke and Tyler will have provided us (you better have)

It in no way will take precedence over anything, it'll be entirely friendly, and any money involved is strictly a choice to be made by those entered.
