Kinda surprised that Tweek stayed to Cloud throughout the tournament, but I think komo's and Leo's performance at Switchfest was the inspiration.

JeBB joins the Bayonation. Not too surprised though, but Bayo/Lucas is an interesting combination of characters.

Edit: Cloud has been doing really well lately too. He actually might contend with Bayonetta for highest result, but don't quote me on that.

JeBB is basically a Pink Fresh clone. A MD/VA player who used to main Lucas, but now mains Bayonetta and uses her for pretty much all the time aside from one or two instances.

Jebb hasn't played Lucas for at least a year (more?) now.

So it always shocks me when people treat it as new news. He will occasionally go Lucas, but honestly, I've seen it just as often as Black Yoshi's... Black Yoshi lol.

Personally, I think Komo and Lima should be ranked a bit higher. ESAM also is having his best season since 2015. I'd put WaDi and Cosmos above Larry as well. Salem is actually not doing too well this season, I'd put him where Komo is right now. Everything else I agree with.

Elegant hasn't participated much PGR events, with his only major appearance, Genesis, having him place 13th, losing to K9 and Mr. R. There simply much more players performing better than him.

There is some inconsistencies with this chart. For example: peaks vs consistency, attendance, wins vs PGR players, and degree of PGR event.

I don't know if he used Bayo or not, but he mainly used Cloud throughout the tournament. Locus picked up Bayo because he considers Rosa and Sonic "hopeless" matchups for Ryu, although that isn't true (despite them being troublesome matchups).

Statistics, unfortunately, doesn't care about effort. If Dabuz is doing better, which he currently is, then Tweek is ranked lower than him.


Arcane Tournaments 2018 (C Tier) (Mexico)

Mexican tournaments in general is simply Leo's training grounds for his Bayo, only switching off of her against higher caliber players. Amusingly, when Leo's Marth took a game of Chag in game 1, Leo decided to go Bayo saying "You are now my Bayo's training partner. You are not worthy of my Marth!", and still beat him 3-0 .

I noticed the top players who fought Captain L made quite a bit of mistakes fighting him. Guess that is the benefit of choosing a rare character. The Smashwiki literally called out the slaughterhouse of Grand Finals set 2: "While [Lucina] does possess some advantages that allow her to fare better in certain matchups compared to Marth, such as Pikachu and Captain Falcon, she still lacks the main advantages that Marth's tipper provides."

Locus has had a Bayo for a while now, specifically to deal with the Rosa and Sonic matchups.
