Smash 3DS 3ds XL circle pad sticks.

Has anyone else got this problem after playing smash 4 on a 3ds XL? This started this morning after playing it. So not if I move up it's stuck or left and right. I know it's the hardware but does anyone know of ways to fix it so that it does not happen again? I have to pull the pad up and play light. If I press down on it too hard it gets stuck.

This is why you're not supposed to press down on it when you play, just sliding it gently works just fine. You might be able to send it to Nintendo to get a repair for a small fee.

anyways i'd suggest being maybe a bit more gentle with the circle pad stick and you'll be fine

Yah. I popped the pad up and if i play lightly its fine.
