G.O.!! v3.0

Portland, Oregon. DECEMBER 12th-13th​

We need set-ups.
Where: PORTLAND, Oregon. PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY (PSU) Smith Memorial Building, Room 296.
When: December 12th-13th
Who: YOU.
What: Melee, Brawl, maybe some other games. SFIV? BlazBlue?
How: I don't know... That's for you to do. >_>;

RULES
Brawl Ruleset
Pound 4 Ruleset, Probably.

Tentative schedule of events:
Saturday= Start bracket for all singles & doubles events
Sunday= Crews, Finals, and Friendlies

Door Fee: $2 (spectators included)
Melee Singles: $10
Brawl Singles: $10
Melee Doubles: $10 (per person)
Brawl Doubles: $10 (per person)
Melee Crews: TBD idklol. I'd actually really like to do this though, I've never done a crew battle (I'm not the host, though I know how to crew battle).
Brawl 3v3 Crews: $6 per member ($5 if you pre-register)
*Side Tournaments-- Melee & Brawl Low Tier Singles & Doubles (any or all may take place sunday, if pressed for time) $5 per player* (The tiers are defined using the lists from this site, so look in the respective sections for the respective games' tier list)

Tentative schedule of events:
Saturday= Start bracket for all singles & doubles events
10am: Doors open, setup & friendlies
12pm: Melee doubles begin
12:30: Brawl doubles begin
3pm: Melee singles begin
3:30pm: Brawl singles begin
9pm: Low Tier tournament begins, clean up
10pm: GTFO

Sunday= Crews, Finals, and Friendlies
10am: doors open, friendlies
11am: Finals/Low tier
2:00pm: Crews/Low tier

Are we going to get a stream from DrMario12 again? That was pretty sweet. The only thing I didn't like about it was, at first, it wasn't on the really nice TV, but I think that changed when I wasn't paying attention during my other tourney matches.

According to the TO, the date will now be sometime in November or December due to this being too close to Tourneyplay 3. You should go to TP3 an this. :3

TP3 will have a lot of people though.

If I'm in town, I'll be there for friendlies, but I doubt it.

I uh, go to PSU, by the way. Anybody nearby should get ahold of me for some matches, although I mostly just play Brawl+ now.

The bigger one got moved to december 100% in favor of tourneyplay.

Tourneyplay is in October.
GO3 is in december.
This is in august.

I am visiting Oregon for a week. maybe I will swing in for this. i will post later. any other tourneys in Oregon from Wednesday-Saturday this week?

Figured. I missed warped in my state for going to a tourney. i could miss the one up there as well for a tourney too ;)

Oregon people are generally more on AiB, but Gage, myself, Binx, BC Chris, Minh, and a couple others still come here.


Btw, I added the schedule to the original post for G.O. v2.5, so that should be helpful to all those that need it.

hey keeper do you know if ssbm runs slow because of your computer its self fails or dolphin and etc can't support it.I've seem people playing ssbm on pc at 60fps or more/no lag so I'm confused.Either way computer shouldn't matter since I just bought a new one two weeks ago
let me know and I'll add ssbm to my filefront for you to download since there's no torrents and rapidshare is missing files for ssbm(all the links on rapidshare).Then you can download dolphin yourself or any similar gamecube emulator.
for you to hook up your gc controller to your computer you need a gc pc adaptor.

I have absolutely no idea as I've never seen it used in person or know how to set it up. Maybe next time I go to Jesse's or something, if you're there, we can try setting it up on my laptop.

Hope you can make it. It should be fun with around 30-40 people attending between both games, it seems.

Well, i'd love to rep my home state, but I'm working on two characters. So i'd sport them during the tourney and prob get rocked xD. I don't get a lot of practice where i live even though Utah has amazing players that aren't widely known.
