It’s true; I have seen people get banned on these forums for much less hostile stuff, and in a shorter period of time. When the initial reports were made, the mods were aware of the problem going on. Now I do not agree with consecutive reports or flaming back (you can obviously see I did not engage in this), however the point that the mods were aware of the problem stands. And yet it still continued at a fast pace without so much as a warning being issued. So is this our fault? No. Mods get on every day, and if one mod doesn’t have authority here, the least he could do is inform one that does of what’s going on. Also, if you guys have trouble patrolling threads that have languages you guys don’t understand, I suggest you recruit people who do. It’s difficult to know when something bad is going on if one doesn’t understand what’s being said.

Warnings were issued, after more than 10 pages of hostile flaming and personal threats. That is a long time to wait, but part of it are the faults of people snapping back. Again, an eye for an eye makes the world go blind. Weren’t we taught back in elementary that snapping back is not the right answer? Just like how 1+1=2 is a very simple thing we learned a long time ago, and still apply to this day, we should remember and apply something so simple as to not snap back. This exact same attitude of hitting someone back because they hit you is what sparks conflicts like those of the middle east, and urban gangs that waste their lives by fighting with others. It’s on a much smaller scale in this thread, but the concept is the same. People also tend to be pretty spiteful, as is noted when someone changed their sig after my martial arts comment.

And please, if you guys want the thread to remain open, don’t bicker to each other about how someone else is going to get it closed. The most surefire to keep it open is simply to not post and wait until things calm down. At the very least, post on the topic of Smash.

Uriel - Invita a los de SmashBoards que no sepan nada por sus conecciones. Me gustaria que el torneo fuera "entre familia" (primero algo pequeño para ver como funciona en ese lugar). Aunque voy a invitar a par de amigos que tambien tienen bajones de Smash y que quiero ver como juegan y no han tenido la oportunidad.

Y no es un smashfest, es un torneo !!! Si no puede ser torneo pues entonces pienso en un smashfest. Pero hasta ahora lo ire a reservar el 16 de diciembre. Si no se puede pues ustedes diganme una fecha cerca del 16, o para enero.

Para los que quieren saber el lugar

Va a ser en una cancha, en el barrio Amelia de Guaynabo, despues de la carcel federal (voy a conseguir direcciones exactas despues a ver que se puede hacer).

No va a ser en la cancha en si, va a ser en el segundo piso de la cancha, ahi hay un saloncito y ahi nos podemos acomodar.

Lo que tengo hasta ahora es:

ATH: Me dijo que podia traer 1 tele y 1 Game cube.
Riku - 1 Game Cube con juego
Yo: 1 o 2 televisores (dependiendo), Game Cube con juego y Plot (si es que se llama asi).

Asi que tendria...

Actually the argument was between 4 guys which it's not equal to the whole puertorrican comunity.

I can translate anything you don't understand if you want or tell you if someone doesn't follow the rules in spanish.

Qarura- I can bring a GC, smash copy and memory card. Make it a tournament people will show up as always.

Para la gran mayoria que no me conoce, mi nombre es Sebastián, y soy parte del Gamer's Guild del RUM.

Ya que vivo cerca del lugar del torneo puedo contribuir:

- 1 TV tentativamente, pero no puedo prometer nada.


Uriel, acerca de algo el proximo semestre: Nosotros comenzamos clases el Miercoles 10 de Enero, pero lo mas recomendable seria programar algo para el sabado 20 de Enero, para tener tiempo de pedir permisos y demas cosas.
