Aww. I'm going back to Maine end of April. :(

I dunno if anyone would be able to host a bi-weekly in my area.

Can travel to: Pretty much anywhere on the main T lines, I try to avoid the Commuter Rail for monetary purposes.
Will travel to: As far as I need to go, although preferably within a 30-45 minute transit
Can provide transportation: Very Very unlikely
Willing to host: Can't

Assuming this isn't football season, would you want/be able to attend a Sunday bi-weekly or any other day of the week? Friday-Sunday is the best for me, I don't know if I'd be able to make weekdays often, if at all.

Northern Outskirts of Boston: Fairly easy
Southern Outskirts of Boston: Easiest out of all, considering thats where I live
Western Outskirts of Boston: Fairly easy
Lowell Area and Northeastern Mass: Medium. Can access by train
Southeastern Mass and Cape Cod Area: Medium
Worcester Area: Can access by train

Willing to travel to: Anywhere is I have a ride or if it accessable by train.

Can Travel Too: Anywhere mentioned except for western mass (wellesely or framingham would be extremely easy and awesome)

Willing to travel too: Anywhere I can get too

Can provide transportation: Highly doubtful, unless my friends wanted to drive people.

Willing to host: Not at the moment, but possibly in the future.

Days of week: Any day, as long as it's after 4 or so on weekdays. Weekends, any time is good.

I really hope this ends up getting something going in the massachusetts community. Also, thx for the PM redsoxfan,I'm sure many of us would've missed this without it.

Can to travel to: It depends, Birdman is my ride to these places, but generally anywhere except Western Mass and/or maybe Central Mass.
Willing to host: My house isn't big enough.

Hopefully someone will be able to host a biweekly around the General Boston area, since that's where I think most people generally are.

I'll look around for (public or private) places that might let us go there for biweeklies in my town, or the next town over (Arlington).

Would you be able to make it to either Worcester or Spencer?

Note on Venues:

If you can find a place that is willing to do it, say once a month then put that down as a possible venue. This doesn't have to be at the same place everytime. Ideally, we'll have this change locations, but 1/2 of them will be T accessible.

Like I said Birdman is my ride to places, lol. There's no way my Asian parents would drive me xx distance to play a video game. :(

I'll do what I can to find a place too.

There you have it, Spencer is too annoying due to the toll.

Can Provide Transportation: Yes, 1-4 people, preferably if you're on the way thats much easier, but i dont mind driving like 20-30 mins MAX out of the way. unless you want to pay me for gas money.... :p

Can travel to: Almost anywhere within MA, CT, RI areas
Willing to travel to: pretty much anywhere given that I have a ride and get housing if it's farther than ma, ri, ct
Can provide transportation: 3 people, my crew gets first dibs on rides.
Willing to host: If i can find a place that doesn't think i'm running an illegal gambling ring and is reasonably priced, I'd love to host another SNF.

I'd prefer southern MA, close to RI if at all possible. Saturdays are preferable, as it's my only guaranteed day off work.

Would you want/be able to attend a bi-weekly on a day other than Saturday?
Absolutely, any day of the week works for me, although I'm sure Saturday is probably the best for almost everyone here. Do you want people to update their posts with a days of week part?

Okay I found some possible venues for Quincy, MA.

The Bryan Room: 24 Broad St., 1-800-474-6234.

Knights of Columbus Hall: 5 Hollis Ave., 617-767-0519.

The Neighborhood Club: 27 Glendale Rd., 617-773-9300.

All of these are a short walk off the redline and Knights of Columbus Hall is literally across the street from the T stop.

250 dollars isn't too bad considering you usually get about 50 people at your tournies. That's around a 5 dollar cover. I would go for something under 200 though just in case you don't have the greatest turnout. Cause over 5 dollars is a bit steep for an entrance and skimming the prize pool for 50 bucks isn't the greatest idea either.

Alright so I spoke to some people with Knights of Columbus and the smallest rooms would be way too expensive to rent out.

Like 400 dollars. I don't think anyone would go to a 13 dollar entrance fee tournament.
