?????????

It is latin, I might be able to translate. Nope, sorry! But why is a thread about music in the Characters section. This should be moved.

This thread was made before the Brawl Section division.

A lot of variables here. The Latin of the Middle Ages had different pronunciation than the Latin of Antiquity. For instance, the "ae" was pronounced "eye" in Antiquity, "ay" in the Middle Ages. Plus Latin is inflected, and a lot of the meaning requires interpretation of the grammar. Sakurai would have to give the written form for a really accurate translation. From what people have pulled so far, it seems to use a mock epic motif to describe a Smash Battle. It probably gives zero clues about the game.

Other news of fame
that takes a long time
from the light of expression
and through the day down from the tree
Another reputation builds
a long wait for them
1. and to play out of clay
2. and through the child theatre
See the expresion of the brother and trouble them
3. See the expreson of the brother and bring pain to them
Failure turns into courage
From courage comes a soldier
That soldier shall strike with power!!
He pursues higer, and higher
"Oh, they are mine now!"
"Who are you to fight through my 3 lives from which I have gained?"
"From the greatness of the theatre"
"Go now and give!"
"I surrender my 3 lives to my brothers!"
Cool, a lot of those lyrics clearly relate to Smash Bros. I thought it would be more vague than that.

1. Probably refers to the characters being trophies
2. The Master Hand is supposedly a child playing with the characters like toys
3. "Smash"... Brothers. That one's pretty obvious.
