Direct Leak from 2 Channel (Spoilers) [ANOTHER FAKE?]

Panda Edit: Far too many people are taking this roster as a fact, so I decided to edit the post/title and allow people to read this. Myself and a few other people in this thread have searched for this posting on 2chan, and as far as we know, it does not exist. I've even searched other Japanese Smash sites to see if they mentioned this roster, and they had not. Without a link or a source, there is no evidence that this was ever posted in 2chan, so I urge future readers to not take this roster too seriously unless a source can be confirmed.

WARNING: THIS IS THE FINAL SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL ROSTER, THE SOURCE WAS GATHERED FROM 2CH, AND HAS BEEN CONFIRMED TO BE A RELIABLE SOURCE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE FINAL ROSTER SPOILED FOR YOU, INCLUDING ALL SECRET CHARACTERS, THEN CLICK BACK NOW

This was taken from the previously mentioned Japanese blog, and translated by one of the 2ch users into English (so the English isn't perfect). Enjoy.

First of all, I want to say the characters which have been cut from the Melee roster and will not appear in Brawl as playable.
- Pichu (Cut completely, returns only as Trophy and Sticker)
- Dr. Mario (Returns as Assist Trophy)

Sorry to all that enjoyed playing as the above characters, but I hope you will be satisfied with the rest of the Brawl roster.

This is the list of the initial roster, who you can play as right when you first start the game.

As you can see from the above list, Captain Falcon is the only character that is not shown on the website yet and every character shown is default. Zero Suit Samus is first only playable when using Samus Final Smash, but can later be unlocked to be played at any time.

The below list is a list of all characters that must be unlocked, this is the final roster, and we are sorry if your favorite character did not make the cut.

Directly from 2 Channel, which many can atest to being a very reliable source. It's a total WTF roster, but if you think about it, so was Melee. Interpret it as you like.

I would be pretty happy with it.

But theres one thing that makes it iffy...

First, reusing a concept... meh, and we already saw torchic.

But that is one fancy looking roster, something that I'd absolutely ADORE if it were true.

No Mega Man is blah, but hey. Even if this is real or not, it's fun to speculate. If it turns out to be right? HOT DA<span>MN this is nice!

Mii, Animal Crosser, Baby Mario/Luigi, Rival, and Black Shadow to a lesser extent make this one seem iffy to me. I also don't think we'd get Skapon AND Takamaru.

But hey, I'll consider it possible until debunked

the baby marios
vaati
mewtwo
black shadow
and ¿pokemon rival?

But a lot of those are clones if you look at it.

God I wish this were true... This is my dream roster, right here. Too bad Serebii's HAMMERBANNED Mewtwo indirectly more than enough times. :embarrass

I find this a very interesting and original roster. Also corroborates with thealmightygoat with the Rival Trainer (who according to him appears as a boss). Still sceptical however.

Except, it says that you'll be able to play as Sonic and Snake right off, and if I recall, Sakurai specifically said those characters would be hidden.

In addition, no more 3rd parties? Wasn't there supposed to be one more?

yeah, that roster is fine... just some units are like meh.

I also like the poke rival idea...just that is a little..... repetitive.

falco decloned?... is good but also he will lose , you know, what made him "falco" in melee.

black shadow?- well only if he is VERY different from captain

I found that one very iffy.

Cool original idea though.
