Nintendo Press Conference of Doom '07

Why all the doom and gloom? Well unfortunately despite the awesome update at the top of the Dojo Update I’ve been given the job of bad news today. While I feel irony hit us when we got the knowledge of the fastest hedgehog in the world, we got wind of something that may not be as fast we want it, at least a fast enough release date. I have some personal thoughts on this myself, but I will refrain from speculation.

This doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the nicety of what this video covers for us. It shows more action being put into the game and shows how close it is to being done, hell, based off this video Reggie wasn’t kidding when he said they could sell the game right now and they would still sell millions. How awesome is that?
The first part of the video showed fighting above Delfino Plaza.

In the new trailer it says Coming Soon, plus the game looks finished.
I don't think we will have to wait much longer.

Where was this held. If it was japan that will explain the coming soon thing. We don't know japans release date so coming soon wouldn't say much.

But...

Luckily, I, amoung others, will be able to play Brawl come E for All next week.

Doesn't really bother me. I'm use to good games getting delayed (*stares at Blizzard's Starcraft and Warcraft 3*)

They have more time to finish the game.

Please don't do this to me Nintendo...I've been waiting so long! I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked at the Dojo for a second time today and saw the "Release Date: TBD". Looks like we probably won't see Brawl until February or March 2008.

I also noticed one thing on the (Japanese) trailer. It's a minor detail though, but it confirms star KO.

When I first saw all the action in the movie.....I was literally going to cry..........since Melee, I have never seen anything so beautiful in all my life

The only benefit besides balance, is that it won't cause me to fail my finals this semester that start like december 13th.

That change of date better move it to another day in December instead of somewhere in 2008 - I already convinced my superiors that I need that whole week off (week of 12/3) for a "major annual family event."

UGH, I hope we get a new date from this conference.

My God dude......

I consider Nintendo to be "family" since they've been a part of my life since I got my first NES at three years old. It's not lying, per say, I just didn't give specifics as to what a "major family event" entails.

Am I that addicted to Brawl that I'd take a whole workweek off (unpaid, too) just to play that one game with my friends and with great people like you guys online? I am, and it's pretty disturbing...
