  • I'm the type of guy to open a Bible mid-tournament and start preaching to you about how to avoid a second death. Jesus was a cool dude, even after flipping tables and whipping money changers :3
Is 4.04 million a good gsp to have or bad? I don't play quickplay often and don't really know how GSP works so like, could someone maybe fill me in ? lol

That's a huge amount of GSP. Definitely something to be proud of, considering my highest (Palutena) is about 2.3 million. I got her to 3.2 million the other day, but dropped.
I'm new here, pretty shy person joining the competitive community for the sake of making friends and learning how to defeat social anxiety. If I seem weird to you, apologies in advance. Could you do me a favor tho? Could you give me your opinions on my Link? I've only been playing him for 2 weeks, but, here's my progress in a video if you're up to watching it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqz0jKZ6YYg&t=1s

RealPokeFan11 RealPokeFan11 I actually am just now also starting to dabble more with Cloud and intend to do so with other characters. So I'll probably upload more to that youtube pretty soon actually. I already did a two weeks of link video so it's likely Two Weeks of Cloud next and I'm unsure of what after that. Also, by strategy, do you mean throwing it up to catch people going low in strict timing or to absorb the distance Ness' PK Thunder 2?

Throwing it up to edgeguard and catch people trying to recover.

RealPokeFan11 RealPokeFan11 is actually a multi coverage option. It covers high, forcing the opponent to go low, then covers mid low, forcing them to jump or face back, which is EZ covered by links neutral air.
I have degenerating bones in my thumbs and wrists, and I play Link, and it's hard on me..... but I want to start competing sooooo bad. I have to learn to cope with the pain of bone rubbing bone. I also need matchup knowledge to compete, considering I'm sort of new to Smash Ultimate and all. Any direction on matchup data that anyone can point out to me, involving link matchups of course?
