    Oh yeah, we've attempted that several times. It never fell through because of arguing, rather the scope overwhelmed us. Here was the most successful attempt:

    We can either reboot that or restart the whole idea, but I assure you, I will back it no matter what. I love such community-based projects.

    That could probably be better off as just a "Random Pokemon Ideas" thread or something. Discussions can be made and all, but others can take it to the next level and create art, sprites, etc.

    Nonono, you see the concept is something that would make it beneficial to the metagame. We wouldn't pick an animal and set off a typing from it. For example if during SmashCAP 2 we want to make a "ultimate defensive" Pokemon one of the typings would probably be Steel, since it has such good resistances. Get it?

    No, we've long been done with the concept. The concept for SmashCAP 1 is bulky-offense counter. But right now we're working on names and spriting. Check out the threads!

    Alright so we started off with the concept behind it, then went into typing, abilties, artwork and now are discussing sprites, names, and movepool selection. When those are finished there will be an extraneous discussion thread for things like height, weight, etc. That's where you can submit your ideas for a pre-evo(s).

    Xeph was in this one because he went out his wa to tell me I was wrong about hitting the sword. Check the pages befroe and you'll see how much heat I was taking from every1. And unless you convince them otherwise, how do you think we can make DK what he is? You already know how it's going to go down.

    I know, but you're missing the point, there's a good reason why they don't function like DK, and every bit of evidence that we have shows that the only thing similar is their long arms in terms of proportions.

    That was a passing insult, he's never defined as anything. Which is why he gets to have lol-phail proportions. I already explained that, if he's defined specifically as something we can toss out the proportions as "unrealistic", and it says him from fail status.

    If you convince Adum he can convince every1 else. If you haven't noticed, thts how it goes. But expect to hear from REL, Xeph, ect. If you get Adum on your side, they'll drop their argument.

    Yes, but that means nothing. You're trying to pigeonhole DK is something he was never defined as and say he's not lol-phail because of that. Well guess what, if it did function anything like DK there's a good reason it went extinct.

    But of course it doesn't, the reality is it looked a great deal more like the image of the yeti in pop culture based on what scientists found, sure it's got long arms like DK, but the rest of the body is all wrong, especially the legs which are far too short.

    If you wanna get him to be a gigantophithicus, you have to prove he's defined as such, and good luck with that.

    I remember lol; I meant to do a tilt but I didn't argue with what happened. I thought it would be better since you live on the EC but idk; i'll look at it and hopefully it'll get better. But yea you have to play my friend; he plays a few chars himself and maybe we can get teams going one day.
