  • If McDonald's was to make a collection of 12 Smash Bros. Happy Meal toys, which 12 characters should they be of? They could be of the original 12 characters.
Even if there are cuts in Smash 6, the cut characters should still return in future games. No veteran 1st party character should be absent from more than 3 Smash games in a row. If Young Link and Pichu didn't come back in Ultimate, this would have been their 3rd absence in a row.

Not necessarily “should”, but that is a realistic possibility.

So which characters would be gone from Smash forever?

We'd need a few more games in the series to actually release before we can really get a good idea of that.
There should be a free to play Smash game that has all the content from every other Smash game and also adds new content every once in a while. This way no Smash content would ever be cut again. Sure gatcha would be involved, but you'd be spending money anyway to buy a new Smash game and its DLC.
Is it me or did the world of Side Order look better in its very first trailer? The white coloring looks cooler than the grey coloring and I liked the color of the sky in the first trailer.
Why do people complain about the Wii U ports being $60? A port is still a game and games are usually $60, plus just because you've played the original Wii U version doesn't mean everyone else has.
If 4th party characters were to become eligible one day and SpongeBob was one of them, do you think we would get Patrick too? We would mostly get Japanese 4th parties, but there would be a couple western ones too.
Why doesn't Agent 8 just Super Jump to the top of the Spire of Order? Mission accomplished.
I think I get why Punch-Out isn't very popular in Japan. It doesn't have enough content that references Japanese culture, or even Asian culture in general. We Americans like it when games reference American culture.
We need to stop thinking of every Smash game as an updated version of the previous Smash game. Just because your main isn't in Smash 6 doesn't mean they're gone from the whole series. And I think each Smash game should have enough exclusive features to make us want to revisit them every now and then. Each Smash game is a work of art, but Smash 64 and Smash 4 have almost no reason to exist anymore because other Smash games have most of what they have.

Take It from me as a Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat player.

Noob Saibot and Cody (my mains in every game) didn't make the cut for MK1 and SF6 respectively and I am still fine.

Because the new and veteran characters they added are incredibly cool and fun.
In the Your Name. movie, it would it have been better if Taki and Mitsuha had each other's voices whenever they were in each other's bodies? This way it would be easier for us to tell whenever they've swapped bodies.
Inkopolis Square may not become a 3rd hub in Splatoon 3 when Side Order comes, but at the very least, Pearl and Marina could perform Color Pulse and a new song during Splatfests and they could perform the songs in Side Order's central area after you beat Side Order. Assuming 8, Pearl and Marina will all be together again after Side Order''s ending.
There's always a drawback to either ending or continuing the Smash series. If we end the series, the rest of our MWs will never get in, and if we continue the series, characters could get cut and not every MW will be able to get in and they'll have to remain on the waiting list even longer. One way or another, some beloved characters are going to be left out.
Where does Three Houses rank compared to every other Fire Emblem game? Is it better than Awakening?

Sorry this post is a little late & long but i really like talking about Fire Emblem.

    Awakening VS Three Houses

Overall i think Three Houses is a bit better as there is more customization, mechanics, & things to do but Awakening being a more core experience & not having 4 different routes could be a strength to many people.

There are some personal subjective things too such as story & characters (i preferred Three Houses) & music & level design (i preferred Awakening). Overall though both are still really great games id recommend.

    Other Series Games

Echoes & Engage - are underrated & worth a shot (maybe not over the big 2 though).

Fates - Is kind of weird. Imo its alot like Awakening but with alot of elements being weaker but having a bigger story & more features which wed see Three Houses take better advantage of.

Pre-Awakening - Cant speak as much as ive only played Scared Stones. They still seem good but admittedly personally found them a little harder to get into as i got very used to the modern mechanics & presentation from Post-Awakening games.
Should every Smash game have done to Fire Emblem what Brawl did? Keep Marth, the face of the series, and replace the other FE character with the most recent FE protagonist(s) at the time. Smash 4 could have just had Marth, Robin and Corrin while Ultimate could have just had Marth, Corrin and Byleth. This way people would be less mad about Fire Emblem representation than they would be if every FE character ever made for Smash was put in one Smash game. They'd still be mad that it gets a new character every game, but less mad about FE representation than they are today.
Everyone is Here was a double edged sword. On one hand, it's nice that we got everyone back along with 23 newcomers, but on the other hand, Sakurai is acting like it will be impossible to bring everyone back again for Smash 6, and fans will see Smash 6 as a huge disappointment if it won't be able to bring everyone back.
It feels like this community believes that all Smash fans are either 90's kids or early 2000's kids and that 90's kids and early 2000's kids are the only people who will ever care about the Smash series. News flash, there will always be new generations of Smash fans and they'll want their most wanteds in Smash too. How about we think about what the new generation wants?
My 50 character Smash 6 roster if Smash 6 could only have 50 characters.

In Side Order, what if Flow, Jelfonzo, Bisk and Crusty Sean are each trapped on different floors of the Spire of Order and they each give Agent 8 a reward for rescuing them? Flow gives her a hot pink wig of the same hairstyle as her pale pink hair, Jelfonzo gives her a shirt that's exactly like her Octo Expansion shirt, Bisk gives her shoes that are exactly like her Octo Expansion ones. And Crusty Sean gives her an Octo Shot that's just like the one from Octo Expansion. If you equip all these things, she'll look just like she did in Octo Expansion. You can also choose not to equip these things if you don't want them. And the 4 characters will become rivals in Tableturf mode once you rescue them.
Assuming Side Order follows an alternate timeline where Order won the Chaos VS. Order Splatfest, what if we learn that the villian went back in time and made sure Order won and by the end, we have to go back and stop him from making sure Order wins? In the new trailer, the strange way the train ride scene transitions to the start of Side Order could be the timeline changing after the villian changed the past.
Instead of saying Ultimate is for good boys and girls, Sakurai should have said it's AIMED at good boys and girls. Ultimate was clearly made for adults given that it has so many characters that are mostly loved by adults. It's just that the game will sell more copies if it's marketed towards kids. A game that's made for kids and a game that's aimed at kids are two different things.
Splatoon 4 should have a brand new art style and the gameplay needs to feel different from the first 3 games. An issue with the first 3 games is that they all feel samey in terms of art style and gameplay.

a consistent art style is usually the norm for game franchises. zelda's the only one off the top of my head that really goes through drastic changes

But every Mario Kart game uses different art styles. Or at least different color palletes.

Pallets aren’t the same thing as arts styles. Mario’s is consistent
What if Side Order takes place inside Marina's mind and the top floor of the tower is the way out? We see a factory producing Mem Cakes (which are memories), a lot of things Marina associates herself with like Inkopolis Square and Ded1fish and there's a bunch of coarl everywhere, could it be brain coarl? Also Marina's mind could be what Ded1fish was referring to when she said she's another bystander who got sucked in.
Would you rather have Ryu Hayabusa or Ryza from the Atelier series in Smash 6? One is very iconic and the other wouldn't be a sword character.
We have so many characters that any additional ones will bring very few new abilities to the table. Do we really need so many characters? If there's massive cuts, the newcomers will look more unique without the cut characters around.

I would actually agree if this was any other fighting game series. Still, the thing is, Smash Bros. (if that is what you are talking about) is an all-star game, so to me, it is about the all-stars being more than being unique.

...Even though being unique is rather important, but I am for all-star characters a bit more than uniqueness, and I still care for uniqueness a lot. It just doesn't come first for me.
What if Big Man makes a collab song with Pearl and Marina after the events of Side Order? Then when Shiver and Frye find out that he betrayed them again, they could make a new song about kicking Big Man out of Deep Cut. And then he would be separated from them in Splatoon 4.
EarthBound should get a remake to celebrate the 30th anniversary. It could be made using 3D models and Ness could be based his design in Smash Ultimate.
In Side Order, Agent 4 should be playable in case you don't want to use an Octoling. And the explanation for him being in the story could be that the Squidbeak sent him on a mission that will lead him to meet Agent 8 and Drone Pearl.
