Earlier this afternoon, the patch notes for Smash Ultimate version 13.0.1 went live! And with this new version being dropped, this marks the end of Smash Ultimate balance patches.

72 days since the presentation and release of Sephiroth as a fighter, Sakurai has showcased the upcoming fighting duo of Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as the next downloadable fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

A couple days after Sakurai surprised us by collaborating with Microsoft to bring Steve and Alex to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players, Sakurai presented an in-depth look into the character, as well as other Minecraft content that is being brought into the game.

Microsoft announced that it would be acquiring ZeniMax Media, the parent company of the game publisher Bethesda, for $7.5 billion.

After confirming in March that the first character in the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 would come from the ARMS franchise, Nintendo has revealed that Min Min will be the next fighter to join the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster!

EVO Japan 2020 will be arriving on January 24th, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the games that will be played in the competitions. Just recently, the grand prizes have been announced for the top finishers in these competitions, and there is one particular grand prize that is significantly smaller than the others.
